The Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) in cooperation with the Port Land Use Development Advisory Council (PLUDAC) has completed a draft Port Land Use Maritime Industrial Retention and Growth Management Strategy (MIRGMS), which defines a vision for future land development within the immediate influence of Maryland’s Port of Baltimore. Strategies are recommended to achieve land use, economic development, transportation and environmental goals to retain and support the growth of maritime and related industries.
